III.†††††† LIBRARIANíS UPDATE:

††††††††††† Judge Conner asked if the SmartBoard had been used yet.† Ms. Everlove reported that they have used it only a handful of times to date.† She wants to put together a handout to hand out at the next bar meeting.†† Mr. Wilder suggested that some sort of presentation could be set up so that people could attend to see what the SmartBoard can do.† Ms. Everlove stated that the Friends have scheduled a workshop on legal workshop and perhaps it could incorporate a presentation on the SmartBoard.† (Judge Conner announced for the record that Trustee Lewis arrived for the meeting).† Mr. Walker commented that there have been discussions by the Friends on having CLEs conducted at the Library.
††††††††††† Trustee Walker:

††††††††††††††††††††††† National Reporters:† Ms. Everlove has not done the report on the National Reporters yet.† She stated briefly that if we renew the National Reporter System weíre going to be in the situation where we will be shifting more things into storage very frequently.† Sheís not sure the use would justify the expense considering that we can pull it up so easily on the computers, but she will try to get some statistics together.† Ms. Everlove stated that she would rather spend the money on treatises and other things that work so much better in print than online that we donít have online; broaden our collection rather than attempt to replace what we so easily have electronically.† She will prepare better documentation for later discussion.
††††††††††††††††††††††† Query for Bar Assoc. on Tax Material:† Mr. Walker stated that he understood that Ms. Everlove had prepared a very nice query on tax material to present to the local bar associations.† Ms. Everlove reported that will be submitted for the next bar newsletter.† Mr. Walker presented Ms. Everlove with a mailing he had received which was a two volume soft bound set of materials on tax facts on insurance and employee benefits which is updated to include the 2010 Tax Relief Act.†
††††††††††† †As a side note Ms. Everlove reported that she had received a request for a James Publication on dissolution of marriage.† It is an inexpensive, maybe $150.00.† She would like to purchase the publication.† Judge Conner asked if this would be more usefully to attorneys or to pro se individuals.† This particular public would be more useful to attorneys.† Ms. Everlove announced that it is probably the point in time in which she needs to review our pro se collection to make sure that we are up to date on pro se materials.
††††††††††††††††††††††† Friends of the Law Library:† Mr. Walker announced that he has been re-elected as President of the Friends of the Law Library.† The Friends have updated the Law Library Brochure.† The brochure was done as a tri-fold and in black and white to save money.†† There is a folded insert as well.† Ms. Everlove passed out copies to the Trustees for their reference.† Mr. Walker made a motion that the Trustees bear the expense of half of the $340.00 for the brochures.† Ms. Lewis seconded the motion and it was carried unanimously.† Ms. Lewis asked if any of the brochures were placed in the Public Library.† Mr. Wilder stated that he would inquire and if they are not there then they would get some brochures for the Public Library.† Judge Conner suggested that we expand on this and place them in the Public Libraries in the other counties in the Nineteenth Circuit as well.† He also suggested that we place some at the Indian River State College as well.
††††††††††† As there was no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned.
