The Friends of the Rupert J. Smith Law Library hosted the 2024 Law Day Reception at the Paula A. Lewis library in Port St. Lucie on April 30th, 2024.

The event honored community recipients Greg Smith from the Mustard Seed Ministries and Elijah Wooten, Jr. from the City of Port St. Lucie Economic Development department.

St. Lucie County students participated in the annual art contest, depicting this year's Law Day theme: Voices of Democracy.

Many thanks to all who attended!  A huge thank-you to the Law Library Friends for a wonderful event.

Many thanks to attorney George Metcalfe for presenting valuable information on the role of a paralegal. And thank you to the Law Academy's instructor, attorney Angela Baumgarten, for making this opportunity possible.
